PROCESS:
1. INITIAL PHONE CALL
It all starts with a simple phone call. We want to hear about your hopes and dreams for your space, how you use it now and how you foresee using it in the future. We also want to know your desired level of maintenance, any gardening experience you may have, and if you need our help maintaining your space. Lastly, we want to know your timeline and budget so we can determine if your project is a fit for our team and schedule. .
2. COMPLIMENTARY SITE CONSULTATION
Our talented design staff will come out for a home consultation with you to reaffirm your direction for design and to evaluate site constraints and opportunities. At this meeting we will also document the site through photographs and measurements for accurate bidding and estimation services. After this meeting our design team will go to the drawing board to begin work on your design!
3. CONCEPTUAL DESIGN & BUDGET PRESENTATION
Once we have completed a conceptual design, we will arrange a meeting with you to discuss the design and also present a rough budget based on existing projects of roughly similar size and scope. From there we will present a design agreement for us to continue flushing out our ideas in the design development stage.
4. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
During this phase, we will meet with you as necessary to pin down overall design, material selections, construction drawings and other finishes. Our design team will help ensure that every detail, specification, and space are thoughtfully put together before any shovels are in the ground.
5. CONSTRUCTION AGREEMENT
Once the design has been solidified in the design development phase, We will schedule a meeting to walk through the final budget and estimate for your project. At this time we will sign a construction agreement and collect a deposit to begin construction. From here all materials will be ordered, any permits secured, and timeline finalized and ready to go before construction begins.
6. PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING
Shortly before we get started, we will schedule a pre-construction meeting on site to introduce you to our foreman who will be directing and managing the day to day activities of your project. We will walk through the design together to ensure that everyone is on the same page and that things run smoothly.
7. IN-CONSTRUCTION
Depending on size and scope of your project, our design team and foreman will establish a weekly site meeting with you to discuss your project’s progress, ongoing timeline updates, and any thoughts, concerns or changes you wish to make to ensure that everyone is on the same page and that your project goes from vision to reality.
